Project Implementation and Project Management

Our project engineering team works closely with our clients to interpret user requirements in developing functional design specification to optimise system implementation. Project planning procedures are used to effectively control and manage multi-disciplined, large system design and supply contracts. Successful projects require careful planning. Millennium Controls manages projects through frequent customer meetings. We understand that project management comprises many elements other than the traditional (scope, time, cost, quality) variables measured.

System Design

Mechanical Design and Control System Engineers use their experience and expertise to provide optimal system solutions. Projects provide a full specification and man-loaded schedule as well as drawings and documentation which enable the proposal to be presented and understood by all parties. Systems are designed for flexibility with emphasis on right first time design.

Software Development and Implementation

Our project and software engineering capabilities are used to ensure hardware and software design specifications are met; in house software design tools and procedures are used to optimise development of software, engineering drawings and test schedules.

Manufacturing

We have the capabilities to manufacture and supply complete systems for delivery to site or to provide on site services in the development of robotic cells and process controls systems.

Systems test procedures and methodologies ensure rigorous system validation. Software simulation and testing tools are used to provide comprehensive systems verification prior to installation.

Installation and Commissioning

System Installation and Commissioning Services are available on a worldwide basis with experienced mechanical and software engineers, instrumentation specialists, electrical and fitters. We can provide a range of services from supervision of client staff to complete system installation and commissioning.

Training and Systems Support Contracts

We also offer comprehensive training and support services to our clients. Customised training programmes are prepared to ensure effective handover of each system to the client. Local 24 hours, 365 day support contact are in place with a number of our clients.

A complete range of training options is available to the customer, either in-house or at the client’s site. Our support contracts are tailored to the client’s specific needs and range from 24-hour telephone support, through guaranteed call-out response times, to full time on site engineering support personnel.
